Policies, Practices and Procedures. 14.1 Wherever possible, shared HR policies and guidance will be developed to aid joint working and collaboration. Both forces will seek to move to common working practices and procedures over time where it is reasonably practical to do so. This will be managed through the agreed consultation mechanisms following full consultation with unions/staff associations.. 14.2 In the interim period, officers and staff will be required to comply with their own force policies and procedures including reporting arrangements. 14.3 Line managers with HR support should familiarise themselves with both IRUFHV¶ SURFHGXUHV WR HQVXUH HIIHFWLYH UHSR procedures including: Fairness at Work (Grievance) Attendance management and reporting Occupational Health and Welfare Services Duty management including annual leave RPD / CPD Flexible working Unsatisfactory Performance/Capability Discipline / Misconduct (Subject to Direction & Control) Police Reform Payments The maintenance and holding of personnel records will be the responsibility of the joint HR provision within the collaborative team or if this does not exist, the HR Department RI WKH HPSOR\HH¶V KRPH IRUFH
