Pole Inspection Program. Contractor shall provide a pole inspection program for transmission lines that consists of the following activities: • Sound, bore, and selective treatment of wood poles and visual inspection of hardware once every ten (10) years for transmission lines that are more than twenty (20) years of age. • Wood pole treatment will be performed as needed using pesticides and fungicides to mitigate active biological deterioration. • Identification of hazard poles for replacement as a function of Demand Work.
