Plant Materials Clause Samples

The Plant Materials clause defines the types, quality, and sources of plants and related materials to be used in a project. It typically specifies requirements such as species, size, health, and condition of plants, as well as standards for soil, mulch, or fertilizers. This clause ensures that all plant materials meet agreed-upon standards, reducing the risk of disputes over quality and helping to guarantee the success and longevity of landscaping or horticultural work.
Plant Materials. The Employer may at his own discretion, supply any Plant and Materials as may be required by the  The Contractor is to notify the Employer in writing, 48 hrs in advance, of such Plant and Materials required.
Plant Materials. Contractor to provide all plant material. Plant materials will include a combination of container plants, vegetative cuttings (propagules) and seed mixes. Seeding will be performed by a method specified in site specific HMMP but will be either by broadcast or Hydroseed method. Plant species, so indicated by site specific HMMP and any pertinent permits will be installed via instruction of site specific HMMP. Vegetation species seed, container plants and cutting origin will be specified by respective site HMMP and permits. Seed mixes will be clearly labeled showing type of seed, test date, supplier name, seed source, and percentage of the following: pure seed, crop seed, inert matter, weed seed, noxious weeds, and total germination content. All seed mixes are expected to be clean, without undesirable non-native and noxious weed seed. Receipts of nursery stock will be made available to County and District Inspector/Project Manager.
Plant Materials. 2.1.1 Plant material shall conform to American Standard for Nursery Stock, ANSI Z60.1. 2.1.2 Plants shall be true to species and variety specified and nursery grown in accordance with good horticultural practices under climatic conditions similar to those in the locality of the project for at least two years. They shall have been freshly dug, oversized balled, and be of the form necessary to meet design standards. They shall be sound, healthy, vigorous, well-branched and densely foliated when in leaf and free of disease and insects (eggs or larvae). They shall have healthy, well-developed root systems and shall be free from physical damage or other conditions that would prevent thriving growth. 2.1.3 Plants shall not be heavily pruned before delivery. Trees with multiple leaders, unless specified, will be rejected. Trees with damaged or crooked leader, abrasion of bark, sunscald, disfiguring knots, insect damage, or cuts of limbs over ¾ inch (2 centimeters) in diameter that are not completely calloused should be rejected. 2.1.4 Plants shall conform to the measurements specified, except for plants larger than those specified. If larger plants are used, the root ball shall be increased in proportion to the size of the plant. Caliper measurements shall be taken on the trunk 6 inches (15 centimeters) above the natural ground line. Height and spread dimensions specified refer to the main body of the plant and not from branch tip to branch tip. Plants shall be measured when branches are in their normal position. If a range of size is given, no plant shall be less than the minimum size specified. Balled and burlapped trees shall be a minimum of 2- inch caliper. 2.1.5 All plants shall be labeled by plant name and size. Labels shall be attached securely to all plants, bundles and containers of plant materials when delivered. Plant labels shall be durable and legible, with information given in weather- resistant ink or embossed process lettering.
Plant Materials. The Employer may at his own discretion supply any Plant and or Materials as required by the Supplier to Provide the Services.  Any electrical equipment or appliances supplied to Site must comply with all relevant safety regulations and requirements and be maintained in safe and proper working condition.  The Employer has the right to stop the Supplier's use of any electrical equipment or appliance, which in the Employer's opinion does not conform to the foregoing.
Plant Materials. 1. Plant Materials shall meet City of Papillion’s size standards.
Plant Materials. 1. All container grown young plants shall be healthy, vigorous, well- rooted, and established in the container in which they are growing. They shall have tops of good quality and be in a healthy growing condition. A container grown young plant shall have a well- established root system reaching the sides of the container to maintain a firm ball. 2. All annuals and perennials shall be nursery-grown in 4-inch pots, well rooted, full, healthy plants just ready to bloom.
Plant Materials. 1. Plant materials shall meet the minimum City of Papillion's size standards. 2. Landscaping shall comply with the Site Plan/Landscape Concept Plan (Exhibit “B-1”). 3. The height of vegetation in the northeast corner of ▇▇▇ ▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ no greater than 10 feet as illustrated in Exhibit “B-1”.
Plant Materials. Different Brassica rapa cultivars were submitted to uniform culture conditions. Seeds from registered cultivars including Raapstelen (▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇), ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ (▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇), Herfstraap (Goldana) and Oleifera were germinated in soil in the cold room (4 oC) for two days. The pots were placed in a box, provided with sufficient water and covered. These were then transferred to the greenhouse and kept at 25 ºC, 50-60% relative humidity with 16 h of daylight and 8 h of darkness per day. Seven-day old seedlings were transferred to 10 cm-diameter pots with substrate and placed in the same greenhouse and watered daily. Three individual plants were used as replicates from each cultivar. Four upper leaves from each plant were harvested four and six weeks after germination at around 13.00 h and plunged directly into liquid nitrogen before freeze drying to avoid possible enzyme degradation. The samples were then ground to a fine powder with a pestle and mortar and stored in the cold room until analyzed.
Plant Materials. In developing the final design for the Memorial, the NPS, NCPC, and EMC shall consider incorporating tree and shrub species from the original LBJ Building Plaza palette. The Memorial landscape design, dated December 2011, incorporates specific tree species from the original palette and the NPS and the EMC shall continue to include or enhance such plantings in the final design for review by the CFA and the NCPC.
Plant Materials. General condition of existing plant materials including trees, shrubs, vines, ground covers, and lawn: record plant materials which are damaged or dying.
