Pet Fee Clause Samples

A Pet Fee clause establishes the requirement for tenants to pay an additional fee if they wish to keep pets on the rental property. This fee may be a one-time payment or a recurring charge, and it typically applies to each pet or to certain types of animals as specified in the lease. The clause helps landlords cover potential damages or increased maintenance costs associated with pets, ensuring that the property is protected and that expectations regarding pet ownership are clear for both parties.
