Common use of Period of Liability Clause in Contracts

Period of Liability. The Contractor shall guarantee for the work done for a period of three months from the date of issue of Completion of work . Any damage or defect may arise or lie undiscovered at the time of completion certificate, in the workmanship shall be rectified or replaced by the Contractor. In default, the Engineer-in-charge may cause the same to be made good by other Contractor and deduct expenses (of which the certificate of Engineer-in-charge shall be final) from any sums that may be there or at any time thereafter become due to the Contractor from his Security Deposit.
