Peer Cities Clause Samples

The Peer Cities clause defines a set of comparable cities or municipalities that serve as benchmarks for evaluating certain terms or conditions within an agreement. Typically, this clause specifies which cities are considered peers based on factors such as population size, economic characteristics, or geographic location, and may be used to compare metrics like compensation, service levels, or market rates. By establishing a clear reference group, the clause ensures that comparisons are fair and relevant, helping to resolve disputes or set standards based on objective, agreed-upon criteria.
