Common use of Payments on Non-Business Days Clause in Contracts

Payments on Non-Business Days. Whenever any payment to be made hereunder or under the Note shall be stated to be due on a day which is not a Business Day, the due date thereof shall be extended to the next succeeding Business Day; provided, however, that if such next succeeding Business Day is in a new month, then the payment required under this Credit Agreement or the Note shall be made on the first Business Day preceding the original date on which payment was due. If a payment of principal has been extended pursuant to this Section 6.1, interest shall be payable on such principal at the applicable rate during such extension.
