Common use of Payment of Award Clause in Contracts

Payment of Award. All compensation awarded for such taking or conveyance shall be the sole property of Landlord, without any deduction therefrom for any present or future estate of Tenant, and Tenant hereby assigns to Landlord all its right, title and interest in and to any such award; provided, however, Tenant shall have the right to recover from such taking authority, but not from Landlord, such compensation as may be awarded to Tenant on account of moving and relocation expenses and depreciation to and removal of Tenant’s property.
