PAYMENT FOR SCHOOL TIME. The employee must participate in the Day Release Program as opposed to the Block Release. The Day Release is what is offered at Canadore and it is the program which offers the most suitable schedule for training. The City would agree to pay for school time on this basis. It would be understood that any time missed would not be paid. Once again, we would rely on the signed attendance sheets. If the employee leaves the Corporation at any time during that period, they would be required to reimburse the Corporation for the training costs on a prorated basis.
