Pay Range. (a) Assignment of a Higher Pay Range If a higher pay range is assigned to a position or class of positions, the employee shall move to the same step in the new pay range as that at which he/she was being paid in the previous range, except where the length of the range has been increased, employees who have been at the maximum for more than one (1) year will have their rates adjusted to the new higher step(s) based on the number of years they have been at the maximum.

Pay Range. A. An employee promoted to a position in a class having a higher pay range shall receive a salary increase as follows:
Pay Range. The pay range for sworn Crime Scene Analyst I shall be a minimum of $26,438.05 and a maximum of $33,196.80 (pay grade P-01). Starting pay of sworn Crime Scene Analyst I will begin at $27,040.00. The pay range for Police Officers and sworn Crime Scene Analyst IIs shall be a minimum of $37,502.40 and a maximum of $61,859.20 effective October 1, 2018.
Pay Range. The pay range for employees covered by the terms of this Agreement shall be $46,410 - $72,034.00 for the first fiscal year, FY 2017-2018. This pay range reflects a 2% general wage increase as shown in Appendix B found at the end of this Article. An employee who is not at the maximum step of the pay plan shall receive a step increase in the paycheck for the payroll period in which the employee’s classification anniversary date occurs. Pay for the second and third years of this Agreement shall be determined prior to the start of each of those two fiscal years as provided in the wage reopener in Section 7.
Pay Range. An employee who works more than thirty-nine and three-quarters (39.75) consecutive working hours out of classification shall receive an upgrade equal to the lowest step of the pay range for the higher class which provides at least a five percent (5%) increase (or a five percent (5%) if the top step for the pay range does not provide at least a five percent (5%) increase), commencing the first hour of working out of classification and for each consecutive hour thereafter. Working in a higher classification must be approved by the department head in advance.
Pay Range. Effective January 1, 2018, Paramedic Intern Hourly Pay Rate shall be 17 $19.8987 per hour worked and shall be reflected in the Paramedic Intern Wage Addendum, 18 Addendum B. The Paramedic Intern classification shall be subject to the same general wage increases 19 as provided for under Article 11, Sections 1B, 1C, and 1D of this Agreement.
Pay Range. Upon promotion to Lieutenant, an adjustment will be made to Lieutenant’s salary if needed to create a 10% pay separation between the base pay of the highest paid sergeant at that time (for purposes of this Article, base pay shall exclude any and all pay additives including but not limited to any and all senior sergeant pay, any and all senior officer pay earned while an officer, any and all overtime, and any and all other pay element(s) or additives, whether or not described herein and which may be added to base pay; either now in existence at the time of this agreement or put into place in the future).

Pay Range. The pay range for police sergeants shall be a minimum of $64,985.80 and a maximum of $73,652.80
Pay Range. The pay range for employees covered by the terms of this Agreement shall be $45,500 - $70,622.00 for the first two fiscal years, FY 2014-2015 and FY 2015-2016. This pay range reflects a step pay plan with sixteen (16) steps as shown in Appendix B found at the end of this Article. Pay for FY 2016-2017 shall be determined prior to the start of the third fiscal year. The parties further agree as part of the aforementioned step plan implementation that current law enforcement deputies who previously served as detention deputies with the PCSO will receive service credit for their time as detention deputies when determining their placement in the new step plan. Credit will only be given for full years of service. Placement in the step plan will be determined by combining current law enforcement deputies’ full years of service with their full years of service as detention deputies to determine a total number of service years and then placing the deputy in the corresponding step. There is no maximum number of years a deputy may receive credit for, except that no deputy will exceed the maximum pay set forth in the step plan and this Agreement. Upon the effective date of this Agreement and at all times subsequent, any detention deputy transferred to a law enforcement deputy classification will receive a maximum of two years service credit when determining placement in the step plan, regardless of the total number of years the member served as a detention deputy. The service credit will be actual full years served up to the maximum of two years. For non-law enforcement certified members, the service credit for time as a detention deputy will only apply after the member successfully graduates from the police academy. Non-law enforcement certified members will receive standard recruit pay while in the police academy. Law enforcement certified members will receive the step plan service credit upon transfer.
