Common use of Pay Range Clause in Contracts

Pay Range. The pay range for employees covered by the terms of this Agreement shall be $46,410 - $72,034.00 for the first fiscal year, FY 2017-2018. This pay range reflects a 2% general wage increase as shown in Appendix B found at the end of this Article. An employee who is not at the maximum step of the pay plan shall receive a step increase in the paycheck for the payroll period in which the employee’s classification anniversary date occurs. Pay for the second and third years of this Agreement shall be determined prior to the start of each of those two fiscal years as provided in the wage reopener in Section 7.

This pay range reflects a 23% general wage increase and the elimination of the second to last step as shown in Appendix B found at the end of this Article. An employee who is not at the maximum step of the pay plan shall receive a step increase in the paycheck for the payroll period in which the employee’s classification anniversary date occurs. Pay for the second and third years year of this Agreement shall be determined prior to the start of each of those two the fiscal years year as provided in the wage reopener in Section 76.
