Common use of PAY CHECKS Clause in Contracts

PAY CHECKS. The district will provide two options for employee paychecks for employees that work less than twelve (12) months: Option 1: Employees will be paid in twelve (12) installments with one paycheck per month for twelve (12) consecutive months beginning September and terminating in August. Option 2: Employees will be paid in twelve (12) equal installments, September through June, with three (3) checks being issued on the fourth Friday in June. Each employee must select Option 1 or 2. This selection will remain the same each school year. Changes to pay check options are allowed once per year and must be received by the payroll office by the first Friday in September. Regular 12-month employees will be paid monthly.
