Common use of Part-Time Work Clause in Contracts

Part-Time Work. 26.1 A part-time employee shall mean a weekly employee engaged to work: 26.1.1 not less than 3 hours per day; 26.1.2 not less than 10 hours per week; and 26.1.3 not more than an average of 144 hours over a four week period . 26.2 Any hours worked by a part-time employee outside the ordinary hours of work as set out in Clause 29, or in addition to the 38 hours per week shall be paid at overtime rates. 26.3 Subject to this clause, all the provisions of this agreement shall apply to a part-time employee on a pro rata basis.
