Common use of PARAMEDIC TRAINING Clause in Contracts

PARAMEDIC TRAINING. The Employer has the right to require Employees hired after September 1, 1989, to obtain and to retain paramedic certification, which it finds appropriate, as a condition of employment. When the Department requires training for paramedics and that training is not available in-house, the Department must pay for the training and the Employee(s) will be compensated for the time they are in the class.
