Paramedic Compensation. A. Fire Officers shall not be eligible to act as a paramedic. B. Personnel who “transferred to suppression” as a firefighter prior to January 1, 2013 will continue to provide service as a FRALS paramedic until they retire or promote. C. The differential for being assigned as a paramedic by the department is 6.25% above base pay for that employee’s rank.
