PANIC BUTTONS Sample Clauses
The "Panic Buttons" clause requires the installation and maintenance of emergency alert devices, commonly known as panic buttons, in specified areas of a workplace. These devices are typically placed in locations where employees may be at risk, such as hotel rooms for housekeeping staff or isolated workspaces, and allow workers to quickly summon help in case of emergencies like harassment or threats. The core function of this clause is to enhance employee safety by providing a rapid means of communication during dangerous situations, thereby reducing response times and mitigating potential harm.
