Common use of Owner’s Right to Stop Work Clause in Contracts

Owner’s Right to Stop Work. Owner may, without cause and for its convenience, order Vendor in writing to stop and suspend performance of the Scope of Work. Such suspension shall not exceed [*] consecutive Days or aggregate more than [*] Days during the duration of the Project, and Owner shall provide Vendor with fifteen (15) Days notice to resume the performance of the Scope of Work. Vendor shall be entitled to an adjustment of the Contract Price, Work Schedule or other affected terms and conditions in accordance with Article 14 if its cost or time to perform the Work has been adversely impacted by any suspension or stoppage of work by Owner.
