Overwriting Clause Samples

The Overwriting clause establishes the rules regarding the replacement of existing data, documents, or information with new versions. In practice, this clause specifies under what circumstances and by whom previous records can be updated or replaced, and may outline procedures to ensure that only authorized changes are made. Its core function is to maintain data integrity and prevent confusion or disputes by clearly defining how and when information can be overwritten, thereby ensuring that all parties are aware of the most current and authoritative version.
