Common use of Outside Investigations Clause in Contracts

Outside Investigations. The parties recognize that the conduct of employees may, at times, be the subject of investigations by outside agencies. It is not the parties’ intent to hinder any ongoing investigation; however, the parties mutually agree that these types of investigations should be conducted discretely, and where possible and practical, off the Employer’s property and outside the employee’s normal working hours.
