Other Activities of Limited Partners and Preferred Limited Partners. Except as expressly provided otherwise in this Agreement or in any other agreement entered into by a Limited Partner or a Preferred Limited Partner or any Affiliate of a Limited Partner or a Preferred Limited Partner and the Partnership, the General Partner or any Subsidiary of the Partnership or the General Partner, any Limited Partner or Preferred Limited Partner or any Affiliate of any Limited Partner or Preferred Limited Partner may engage in, or possess an interest in, other business ventures of every nature and description, independently or with others, including, without limitation, real estate business ventures, whether or not such other enterprises shall be in competition with any activities of the Partnership, the General Partner or any Subsidiary of the Partnership or the General Partner; and neither the Partnership, the General Partner, any such Subsidiary nor the other Partners shall have any right by virtue of this Agreement in and to such independent ventures or to the income or profits derived therefrom.
