Special Event. Any event, including but not limited to, a festival, fair, run or race, motorcade, parade, civic activity, cultural activity, charity or fund drive, sporting event, or similar activity designated in the Contract Documents.
Special Event. (A) Notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement to the contrary, upon the occurrence of a Special Event (whether before or after September 1, 1998), each Redeeming Party shall immediately have the unconditional right (irrespective of whether a Redemption Restriction exists or could thereby be created other than a Redemption Restriction under the Act) to require the Partnership to redeem all or a portion of the Partnership Units held by such Redeeming Party by providing the General Partner with a Redemption Notice. A Limited Partner may invoke its rights under this Section 9.10 with respect to one or more Partnership Units or all of the Partnership Units held by such Limited Partner. Any such redemption shall otherwise be governed by and effected and implemented pursuant to this Article IX as if no Redemption Restriction existed.

Special Event. Special events include athletic events, auditorium performances, building use contracts and extracurricular activities. Special Event work is the performance of duties by custodians and engineers in connection with a special event. This work is normally outside the contracted workday, is not part of regularly assigned duties and may be performed during the week as well as during weekends. The assignment of Special Event work will be assigned on a rotational basis utilizing classification seniority within the building. If no one in the building is interested, the work will be offered to the most senior person in the classification on a rotational basis. Special event work will be posted. To be considered, the employee must timely sign the special event posting. The posting will include the name of the event, date, location, hours of work and classification of eligible employees. The work will normally be offered in four (4) hour blocks but may be longer as determined by the supervisor.

Special Event. ❑ There is not a special event scheduled in Washington Park on your rental date as of the date of your reservation. Please note events may be scheduled after you book your reservation.
Special Event. A special event is defined as any event, held by Tenant or for the benefit of Tenant in which the participants (groups or individuals) pay an entry fee to the Tenant, excluding the Berkeley Art Center Association’s Collect! Annual Auction. Any grants or donations made to Tenant shall not be included in special events to the extent that no entry fee is paid. Receipts from Special Events shall include the ticket sales for entry to events held on the Premises by Tenant, its licensees and concessionaires. Tenant agrees to place percentage rent based on the categories below into the scheduled capital improvement account:
Special Event. Those in which Infrastructure Planning and Facilities has been asked to provide employees for work or stand by duty at the event in which overtime will occur. Athletic events, Concerts, Graduation, Move In and Move Out in the Residence Halls are some examples. Other events will be mutually agreed upon.
Special Event. An event which is known about in advance, including those organised and managed by an outside party or outside parties, which requires the Company to plan for any alteration to operational arrangements; for example the Notting Hill Carnival, or a Royal Wedding.
