Common use of Orientation Program Clause in Contracts

Orientation Program. The Employer shall provide an orientation program for new Employees. Time spent in orientation when required by the Employer, shall be considered as time worked. Where written policies and procedures exist, they will be made available for review by Employees. The Union will be allowed a period of fifteen (15) minutes with no loss of regular pay during or following the orientation program to meet with new Bargaining Unit members. At this meeting, the Union will provide all new Employees with a copy of the Collective Agreement.
