Order of priority in application Clause Samples

The 'Order of priority in application' clause establishes the hierarchy among various documents or provisions within a contract, specifying which terms take precedence in the event of a conflict or inconsistency. For example, if a contract includes a main agreement, schedules, and annexes, this clause will clarify whether the main agreement overrides the schedules or vice versa. By clearly defining which document or section prevails, the clause ensures that any ambiguities or contradictions are resolved efficiently, thereby reducing the risk of disputes and ensuring contractual clarity.
