Order for Layoff Sample Clauses

The 'Order for Layoff' clause authorizes an employer to formally instruct employees or a group of employees to temporarily or permanently cease work, typically due to business needs such as restructuring, lack of work, or economic downturns. This clause outlines the process by which layoffs are communicated, including notice requirements and any obligations for severance or recall rights. Its core function is to provide a clear and structured mechanism for implementing workforce reductions, ensuring both legal compliance and transparency for affected employees.
