Optometrists. For employees in the classification Exempt Medical Staff Optometrist (VPS1), the dates set forth in subsections A and B do not apply. Instead, this section 12.6 “Dual Coverage” applies effective on and after January 1, 2010. With this exception, all other provisions of section 12.6 apply.

  • Nurses Nurses shall meet and develop a plan for preliminary assignments for the upcoming school year.   • Nurse Practitioner (Employer Appointed Position) “Nurse Practitioner” means a Registered Nurse appointed as such to a position approved by the employer and who is authorised by the Board under Section 95 of Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW) No 86A. A Nurse Practitioner will have at least three years full-time equivalent experience in an advanced practice role and meets the national competency standards for Nurse Practitioners.   • Patients The Dentist shall accept Covered Persons as patients as reasonably permitted by the Dentist's patient load and appointment calendar. The Dentist will provide Covered Dental Services to Covered Persons on the same basis as to the Dentist's other patients (for example: scheduling, quality of service, and fee charges). The Dentist will be solely responsible to Covered Persons for dental advice and treatment; SDC will have no control over Dentist's practice or the dentist-patient relationship.

  • Anesthesia Services This plan covers general and local anesthesia services received from an anesthesiologist when the surgical procedure is a covered healthcare service. This plan covers office visits or office consultations with an anesthesiologist when provided prior to a scheduled covered surgical procedure.
