Optional Features. A. 2 B-Channel Transfer. This feature provides specific central office switching capabilities. For example, when a call terminates at a given location but is then forwarded to another location, two B-Channels between the central office and the original device are typically employed for the duration of the forwarded call. 2 B-Channel Transfer allows the central office switch to establish the call directly to the final destination and release the B-Channels going in and out of the forwarding device.
