Optical Program. The College will provide faculty members with optical insurance as follows: 1. The coverage shall be $50 for regular prescription eyeglass lenses and $55 for bifocal lenses or more complex prescriptions. Included are all full-time employees and their eligible dependents (spouse, domestic partner and unmarried children under 23 years of age who live with the employee in a regular parent/child relationship). The extension of benefits to dependents shall be effective only after the employee has been continuously employed for a minimum of 60 days. 2. Full time employees and eligible dependents, as defined above, shall be eligible for a maximum payment of $30 or the cost, whichever is less, of an eye examination by an ophthalmologist or an optometrist.
