Operators and Users Clause Samples
Operators and Users. We conduct our (IT) IV&V services in a user-driven manner. We will develop and execute our processes to assess whether the product meets the needs of the stakeholders/users once the product is in daily operational use in a production system. To this end, we will IV&V that: • Test cases reflect the requirements and the criteria match user expectations. • Users and Operators have the correct roles, permissions, and access to perform all the functions they require. • Test data is available, accurate, appropriate, and compliant with all policies and regulations. • System performance is not interrupted or reduced because of the changes or products introduced. • Documentation is thorough, accurate, available, and plainly written. • Training is comprehensive, accessible, and provided early in the process. • Users and Operators are involved or engaged in requirement and testing activities whenever possible. • High severity test defects are resolved or have approved workarounds provided with the necessary documented prior to deployment. • SIT is executed to satisfaction with interfaces working as expected so end-users can begin using the functionality. This approach ensures end-user feel more confident about the product, enabling the user to resume their normal routine quicker. This also allows us to incorporate any user and development team feedback received quickly into the test sprint to reduce development rework and avoid long, potentially costly, test sessions at the end of the overall cycle.
