OPEN ACCESS PILOT TERMS. (PUBLISHING TERMS) 1. Through the various publishing options that ACM makes available, ACM provides all Affiliated Corresponding Authors with the ability to publish their accepted Eligible Articles with ACM on an Open Access basis with no fee charged to them as from the initial publication date of their article in the ACM Digital Library in perpetuity. Open access will be presented as a default choice for Affiliated Corresponding Authors, with the option to publish on a closed access basis, if they so choose. 2. Eligible Articles by Affiliated Corresponding Authors shall be eligible for open access publication under these terms if they are published on or after the Agreement Effective Date or accepted for publication prior to the Agreement’s Termination Date. 3. Through the various publishing options that ACM makes available, ACM shall provide all Affiliated Corresponding Authors with the option to select the rights assignment or licensing option of their choice, including the option for all individual co-authors of the published article to retain the copyright to their article, provide ACM with an exclusive license to publish their article, provide ACM with a non-exclusive license to publish their article, and in the case of the authors’ copyright retention, to make their published article shareable via the use of a Creative Commons license, with CC-BY as the default option. The Affiliated Corresponding Author shall determine which of the above options best meets the authors’ rights-related needs. 4. ACM shall provide all Affiliated Corresponding Authors with the option to retain the copyright in their articles, including on behalf of all co-authors, regardless of whether the articles are published on an open access basis or on a subscription basis. 5. ACM shall deposit copies, on a going forward basis for the term of this Agreement, of all articles authored by Affiliated Authors, with associated metadata, into the University’s open repository for open dissemination. Such deposits shall include all Affiliated-Authored articles, even if the author is not the Corresponding Author. When the article has been published on an open access basis, the deposit shall be of the final published version; when the article has been published on a subscription basis, the deposit shall be of the final accepted manuscript.

  • WORK ACCESS The Association shall provide a current, written list of its Association Representatives to all heads of departments, offices, or bureaus represented herein and the CAO. The Association shall be responsible for keeping the list current. An Association Representative shall have access to department, office, or bureau facilities where Unit members are employed during regular working hours to assist employees covered under this MOU in addressing grievances when such Association assistance is requested by a grievant(s) or to investigate matters arising out of the application of the provisions of this MOU. The Association Representative shall request authorization for such visits by contacting the designated Management representative of the head of the office, department, or bureau. In the event immediate access cannot be authorized, the designated Management representative shall inform the Association Representative as to the earliest time when access can be granted. This Article shall not be construed as a limitation on the power of the head of a department, office, or bureau to restrict access to areas designated for security or confidential purposes.

  • Network Access During its performance of this Contract, Contractor may be granted access to Purchaser’s computer and telecommunication networks (“Networks”). As a condition of Network use, Contractor shall: (a) use the Networks in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations; (b) use software, protocols, and procedures as directed by Purchaser to access and use the Networks; (c) only access Network locations made available to Contractor by Purchaser; (d) not interfere with or disrupt other users of the Networks;

  • System Access CUSTOMER agrees to provide to PROVIDER, at CUSTOMER’S expense, necessary access to the mainframe computer and related information technology systems (the “System”) on which CUSTOMER data is processed during the times (the “Service Hours”) specified in the PSAs, subject to reasonable downtime for utility outages, maintenance, performance difficulties and the like. In the event of a change in the Service Hours, CUSTOMER will provide PROVIDER with at least fifteen (15) calendar days written notice of such change.
