Corresponding Authors definition

Corresponding Authors means authors who are Authorised Users other than Walk-In Users who are also the corresponding author of an article published in a Licensed Title.

Corresponding Authors means a current student or member of staff of the Institution who handles the manuscript and correspondence during an Eligible Article’s publication process – from manuscript correction and proof reading, to the revisions and re-submission of revised manuscripts up to acceptance. They (a) have the authority to act on behalf of all co-authors in all matters pertaining to publication of the manuscript including supplementary material (b) are responsible for informing the co-authors of the manuscript’s status throughout the submission, review, and publication process and (c) act as the point of contact for any enquiries after an Eligible Article is published.

Examples of Corresponding Authors in a sentence

  • The Institution agrees to inform Corresponding Authors that this Licence is in place and that their Eligible Articles can be made Open Access Articles on acceptance in the Licensed Titles.

  • The Institution shall ensure that Corresponding Authors shall identify themselves as being eligible, and shall verify the eligibility of a Corresponding Author in the course of the Publisher’s publishing workflow.

  • Publisher shall accept no liability if Corresponding Authors do not take up the offer of making their articles OA Articles.

  • Licensor shall: verify the identity of Corresponding Authors after the acceptance of Article manuscripts, via affiliation, email domain, or ORCID.

  • It is the responsibility of Eligible Corresponding Authors to provide the correct information in respect of their Institution.

  • Eligible Articles by Affiliated Corresponding Authors shall be eligible for open access publication under these terms if they are published on or after the Agreement Effective Date or accepted for publication prior to the Agreement’s Termination Date.

  • Licensor shall provide reasonably sufficient information to enable Eligible Corresponding Authors to benefit from its open access schemes as described in this Schedule 6.

  • In addition the Licensor will share a list of these articles, twice per year (by the end of March and the end of September, or by other mutually agreed dates), with the National Library, before re-sending the offer to the Eligible Corresponding Author(s).

  • This Licence entitles Eligible Corresponding Authors from the Institution to publish articles under an Open Access licence without further fees, where such articles are Accepted For Publication during the Licence Period.

  • Members will be responsible for informing Eligible Corresponding Authors that this License Agreement is in place and that their Eligible Articles can be made Open Access Material on acceptance in the Hybrid Open Access Publishing Titles and Gold Open Access Publishing Titles.
