Offset Fire Protection. Agencies may exchange responsibility for fire protection for lands under their jurisdiction. The rate of exchange will be based upon comparable cost, acreage involved, complexity, and other factors as appropriate and mutually agreed to by the Agencies. Offset zones will be documented in the Statewide Annual Operating Plan.
