Common use of Officers; Chairman Clause in Contracts

Officers; Chairman. The Trustees shall, from time to time, elect a President, a Secretary, and a Treasurer, who shall be deemed officers of the Trust in accordance with this Declaration. The Trustees may appoint an Assistant Secretary and an Assistant Treasurer as the Trustees deem advisable. The Trustees may elect or appoint, from time to time, a Chairman who shall preside at all meetings of the Trustees and carry out such other duties as the Trustees shall designate. The Trustees may elect or appoint or authorize the President to appoint such other officers or agents with such powers as the Trustees may deem to be advisable. The President, the Secretary and the Treasurer may, but need not, be Trustees, and shall be agents of the Trust within the meaning of Section 3806(b)(7) of the Act.
