The employer shall provide law enforcement officers professional liability insurance wherein the insuring company will pay on behalf of the employee, sums which the employee shall become legally obliged to pay as damages because of wrongful acts arising out of law enforcement activities. Coverage shall be in the following areas: personal injury coverage, bodily injury coverage, property damage coverage, and punitive damage coverage.
