Common use of Notify Clause in Contracts

Notify. their supervisors in advance when their use of prescription or non-prescription medications may impair the employee’s ability to perform the essential functions of their position that will result in a direct threat to others. Such employees include, but are not limited to, sworn officers, holders of a CDL, and those handling hazardous equipment or materials. Employees who drive a motor vehicle as part of their job, whether a County vehicle or their personal vehicle, should report when they are taking any medication that may impair their ability to drive.
