Notification Method. 5.03.01 The Company will maintain a standard method of notifying Flight Attendants of the departure time of their trips. The Company will notify Flight Attendants as soon as possible by phone of any cancellations, extensions, delays or deferments of their trips provided such notification does not interrupt required crew rest periods. 5.03.02 If the change in schedule occurs within 48 hours of the designated reporting time, a phone call will be made to notify the Flight Attendant of the schedule change. All schedule changes made outside of 48 hours will be communicated via the Merlot crew portal only. 5.03.03 If a duty change occurs during the designated rest period, an email detailing the change will be sent to the Flight Attendant’s Company account. Flight Attendants are expected to check their email and the crew portal in Merlot for any changes prior to departing from their rest facility, whether at home or away.

Notification Method. Both parties confirm that the communication address recorded on the first page of this agreement is their true and valid mailing address. The official way of sending formal notices between Party A and Party B is by email, but when it comes to the rights and obligations of Party A or Party B, notices must be sent in writing by mail at the same time. The party shall be deemed to have fulfilled its obligation to serve the documents required by both parties by mailing, faxing, or delivering them directly to the address for communication. If the address changes, both Party A and B shall promptly notify each other in writing. Otherwise, the legal consequences arising from this shall be assumed by the party who fails to give notice.

The media’s awareness of such changes will be based on the following dates: the third working day from the date of network announcement, the date of the email entering the media’s email account, the date of sending by fax, the date of receiving the call, or the third working day from the date of sending by express mail. In any case, when the media notifies Baidu, it shall use email and/or fax and/or express mail (when sending the notice, organizations shall affix the official seal, and individuals shall sign). Baidu’s date of awareness of the notice shall be based on the earliest date of awareness when multiple notification methods are used.

Notifications from the Company to the Subscriber 1) Where not specified by this Agreement, notifications from the Company to the Subscriber may be done via e-mail, display on the Company homepage, telephone, or mail according to the Subscriber information, or other method deemed appropriate by the Company. 2) When said notifications are made via e-mail or mail, notifications shall take effect at the time said e-mail is sent or said mail is posted. 2. Notifications from the Subscriber to the Company 1) Notifications from the Subscriber to the Company shall be made via e-mail to an address specified by the Company, telephone, mail, or other method deemed appropriate by the Company. 2) When said notifications are made via e-mail or mail, notifications shall take effect at the time said e-mail message from the Subscriber arrives at the Company servers or when said mail from the Subscriber arrives at the Company.
