A Notification clause sets out the requirements and procedures for one party to formally inform the other about specific events, actions, or changes under the contract. This clause ensures that both parties are promptly and properly informed of important developments, reducing the risk of misunderstandings or disputes due to lack of communication.
NOTIFCATION. 2.1 The Supplier shall notify the Authority in writing, which for the purposes of this notification may be via electronic mail (email) confirmed by a letter in accordance with Clause 41.1, of any proposed additions to the list of Sub-Contractors specified in paragraph 3.1 below and shall comply with Clause 31 before appointing any such additional Sub-Contractor to undertake any obligation pursuant to a Call-Off Contract.
2.2 Such notification will contain confirmation that the selection and appointment of the Sub- Contractor was in accordance with the procedure to select, appoint and manage Sub- Contractors set out in paragraph 4.
