Common use of Notice to Proceed with Construction Clause in Contracts

Notice to Proceed with Construction. Notice to Proceed with Construction (hereinafter referred to as “NTP”) means the written notice to be issued to CMR by TFC, which shall inform CMR of, among other things, the date to begin a specific phase of Work, as defined in UGC Section 1.48, and the respective date anticipated for Substantial Completion of the specific phase of Work. The effective date of the first NTP shall constitute the starting date of the Contract time.
