Notary. Employees assigned by the Department Head to perform notary duties as part of their regular duties shall receive additional compensation. Each full-time unit employee who meets the eligibility requirements, and is designated by the applicable Department Head and Human Resources Department to receive notary pay shall be compensated at the rate of $25 per pay period. Unit employees receiving notary pay shall also maintain their commission from the California Secretary of State. The City shall also pay for the cost of necessary stamps, journals, supplies, and fees associated with State and/or County requirements, as applicable.
