Non-Continuous. An employee shall be paid time and one-half (1 ½) for the first (1st) eight (8) hours worked and double time thereafter, on any general holiday listed in Article 11, or day observed as such under the terms of this Agreement.   • Continuous MCC System service is defined as continuous employment and shall include all authorized leaves of absence since the last date of hire into a status granting position as well as periods of continuous prior state service performed by employees transferred to the MCC System pursuant to Chapter 695 (Public Law 1985) on April 6, 1986.

  • Continuous Operations Any employee or group of employees engaged in an operation for which there is regularly scheduled employment on a twenty-four (24) hour a day, seven (7) day a week basis shall be known as continuous operations employees.

  • Commencement of Service The Company hereby engages the Executive as President and Director and the Executive hereby agrees to such service on the terms and conditions described in this Agreement. The Executive is being engaged directly by the Company as an Executive who will be compensated for the services rendered as herein provided. This replacement Executive Service Agreement with the Company will commence on January 1, 2013 (the effective date of this contract).

  • NO EXPECTATION OF CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT BEYOND TERM OF CONTRACT Neither this contract nor any Board Policy, rule or evaluation procedure shall confer upon the Employee continued employment beyond the term provided in this contract.
