Non-Assignability of Other Rights and Obligations. Except as expressly provided in the Plan (including, with respect to a particular coverage, in the applicable Coverage Document), any other rights and/or obligations under the Plan to or with respect to a Participant (or other Covered Person or a beneficiary) may not be voluntarily or involuntarily sold, transferred, alienated, assigned, or encumbered, and any attempt to cause such right or obligation to be so subjected will not be recognized except to the extent required by law (e.g., by the designation of an authorized representative pursuant to Section 11.01(c)).
