Common use of No Strike Clause in Contracts

No Strike. The Union agrees that during the term of this Agreement and regardless of whether an unfair labor practice has been alleged there will be no strike, sympathy strike, picket or other work stoppage or slowdown of any kind by employees covered by this Agreement, and the Union will not authorize, encourage, or approve any such action.

Participation in any strike, slow down, sit down, stoppage of work or other similar activity brought about either by action of the Union will not authorize, encourage, or approve any such actionby action of individuals or groups without Union authority shall be just cause for discharge by the Employer.

The Union agrees that it will not authorize or encourage any strike, work stoppage, walk-out, or any act of a similar nature, which would interfere with, limit, or impede the operations of the Company during the term of this Agreement and regardless of whether an unfair labor practice has been alleged there will be no strike, sympathy strike, picket or other work stoppage or slowdown of any kind by employees covered by this Agreement, and the Union will not authorize, encourage, or approve any such action.
