No one outside the bargaining unit shall perform work normally done by those employees within the bargaining unit, except that the Town may contract for work or services outside the scope of the bargaining agreement or as it has been done in the past.
No one outside the bargaining unit shall perform work normally done by those employees within the bargaining unit; except temporary help used when the work load increases. Such temporary help shall only be used to supplement the work force.
No one outside the bargaining unit shall be allowed to perform the duties of a police officer except in cases of emergency, and except during Yankee Homecoming Events. If no full-time regular officer is available, a reserve officer, or provisional officer, or special officer shall be hired in that order. However, for Yankee Homecoming Events, auxiliary or Civil Defense members may be used on a ratio of one to one with regular officers.
No one outside the Bargaining Unit shall perform work normally done by those employed within the Bargaining Unit except when services may be performed by persons involved as per Section 2.A above.
