Common use of No Mortgages or Pledges Clause in Contracts

No Mortgages or Pledges. Neither this Lease nor the Term of this Lease hereby demised shall be mortgaged or pledged by Tenant, nor shall Tenant mortgage, pledge or assign the interest of Tenant in and to any sublease of the Leased Property or any portion thereof or the rental payable thereunder. Any such mortgage, assignment or pledge, and any sublease or assignment not permitted by this Article 21, shall be void.
