New/Revised Classifications. A. Effective August 1, 2017 or upon the first (1st) of the month following ratification of the local agreement, whichever is later, the following new and revised classifications will be established, adjusted, or maintained at the salary ranges below: C0011 Medical Transcriptionist (revised to 1 level) 15 15* C0854 Project Manager 1 (revised) 26 27 C0855 Project Manager 2 (revised) 29 30 C0856 Project Manager 3 (revised) 31 32 C3267 Construction Project Manager 1 (revised) 27 27* C3268 Construction Project Manager 2 (revised) 30 30* C3269 Construction Project Manager 3 (revised) 32 32* C4051 Electronic Security Technician 22 23 26 C6810 Laboratory Technician 1 (revised) 13 13* C6811 Laboratory Technician 2 (revised) 17 18 Effective August 1, 2017 or upon the first (1st) of the month following ratification of the local agreement, whichever is later, all employees will retain their current salary rate in the new classification except that employees whose current rate is below the first (1st) step of the new range shall be moved to the first (1st) step in the new range and a new salary eligibility date of twelve (12) calendar months from the above effective date will be assigned. Effective August October 1, 2017 or upon the first (1st) of the month following ratification of the local agreement, whichever is later2005, all employees will retain their current salary rate in the new classification except that employees whose current rate is below the first (1st) step of the new range shall be moved to the first (1st) step in the new range and a new salary eligibility date of twelve (12) calendar months from the above effective date October 1, 2006 will be assigned. Further advancement in the range shall be allowed by this agreement and the Letter of Agreement on Step Freezes. Employees who are reallocated to a lower salary range classification and whose current salary rate exceeds that of the new salary range shall be red circled until the new classification catches up with the employee’s existing salary. For an employee whose rate is within the new salary range, range but not at a corresponding salary step, his/her salary shall be adjusted to the next higher rate closest to his/her their current salary starting on the above effective their next salary eligibility date. 1 Change However, should an increase be less than two and one-half percent (2.5%), the employee will be placed into the next higher step in classification title from Physical/Electronic Security Tech 2 2 Change in classification title from Physical/Electronic Security Tech 3 * No change proposed B.
