Common use of New/Revised Classifications Clause in Contracts

New/Revised Classifications. A. Effective August 1, 2017 or upon the first (1st) of the month following ratification of the local agreement, whichever is later, the following new and revised classifications will be established, adjusted, or maintained at the salary ranges below: C5732 Licensing Specialist 23 25 C5733 Regulatory Specialist 25 27 Effective August 1, 2017 or upon the first (1st) of the month following ratification of the local agreement, whichever is later, all employees will retain their current salary rate in the new classification except that employees whose current rate is below the first (1st) step of the new range shall be moved to the first (1st) step in the new range and a new salary eligibility date of twelve (12) calendar months from the above effective date will be assigned. For an employee whose rate is within the new salary range, but not at a corresponding salary step, his/her salary shall be adjusted to the next higher rate closest to his/her current salary starting on the above effective date. 1 Change in classification title from Physical/Electronic Security Tech 2 2 Change in classification title from Physical/Electronic Security Tech 3 * No change proposed B. Delete the following classifications from the compensation plan: C5723 Liquor Regulatory Specialist, AFSCME at OLCC (AL)
