NEW JERSEY CONTRACTUAL LIABILITY ACT. THE FOURTH PARAGRAPH IS CHANGED TO: For purposes of determining the date of “completion of the contract” pursuant to N.J.S.A. 59:13-5, “completion of the contract” occurs on the date that the Contractor provides written notice to the Department of Acceptance or conditional Acceptance of the Proposed Final Certificate or the 30th day after the Department issues the Proposed Final Certificate, whichever event occurs first.
