Common use of Net Metering Clause in Contracts

Net Metering. The Company will install metering equipment on the Customer’s premises capable of measuring any excess kilowatt-hours produced by the Customer’s system and delivered to the Company’s electric system. The cost of the meter, installation, maintenance, and any costs of reading and billing associated with this meter equipment shall be borne by the Company.
