Common use of Native Load Clause in Contracts

Native Load. The normal utility obligations of PacifiCorp to provide safe, economic and reliable service in accordance with Good Utility Practice to entities within PacifiCorp’s Balancing Authority Area, including (1) obligations to customers of PacifiCorp under state regulatory jurisdiction, (2) obligations to customers of other utilities receiving transmission or other services from PacifiCorp, including UMPA, and (3) PacifiCorp’s normal obligations associated with operating a Balancing Authority Area. UMPA’s Loads are included within Native Loads hereunder.

Native Load. The normal utility obligations of PacifiCorp to provide safe, economic and reliable service in accordance with Good Utility Practice to entities within PacifiCorp’s Balancing Authority Area, including (1) obligations to customers of PacifiCorp under state regulatory jurisdiction, (2) obligations to customers of other utilities receiving transmission or other services from PacifiCorp, including UMPADeseret, and (3) PacifiCorp’s normal obligations associated with operating a Balancing Authority Area. UMPADeseret loads within PacifiCorp’s Loads Balancing Authority Area are included within Native Loads hereunder.
