National Board Certification Stipend. Stipends are provided outside of the compensation plan in accordance with the IEERB CBA Teacher Rubric, Updated June 2017 page 6. The corporation shall provide a stipend of $1000.00 to any teacher who has obtained certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and become National Board Certified Teachers.

National Board Certification Stipend. A teacher who has achieved National Board Certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards or American Speech-Language Hearing Association is paid an additional $1,500 stipend per year.

National Board Certification Stipend.
A. Teachers who earn National Board for Professional Teacher Standards (NBPTS) Certification will receive a stipend of $1,000 per year for 10 years of the certification. If a NBPTS teacher is hired by the District, he/she will receive the stipend for the years remaining in the certification. If no NBPTS program exists for an employee's specific subject area, then the employee may submit a program to TACT to consider and forward a recommendation to the Board. The standard of other national certification programs must meet or exceed the NBPTS benchmarks. National licenses do not qualify for this stipend.
B. All teachers receiving the NBPTS stipend will be required to perform leadership activities for each year they receive the stipend. NBPTS certified teachers may opt out of receiving the stipend, if they choose not to participate in the required leadership activities. The District’s Instructional Leadership Team and/or Building Instructional Leadership Team will determine what leadership activities teachers must perform.
C. The NBPTS stipend is limited to one ten-year term of the certification.
National Board Certification Stipend. 16.7.1 Beginning July 1, 2015, unit members with active National Board Certification shall receive an annual stipend of seven hundred fifty ($750) per school year.
16.7.2 To be eligible, the unit member must have the certification on file with the District.
16.7.3 Eligible members shall have provided service to the District for a minimum of seventy-five percent (75%) of the days in which the schools are in session during which the certificate was in full force and effect.
16.7.4 Stipends shall be paid in the final paycheck of the school year.
National Board Certification Stipend. Bargaining Unit Members that have earned a National Board Certification as verified by official transcripts/documents and validated by the Human Resources Department, shall receive on annual basis a $1,000 stipend.
