VISIBILITY OF FUNDING FROM THE OFFICIAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE Unless the SAIDC requests or agrees otherwise, any communication or publication made by the Final Beneficiary that relates to the action, including at conferences, seminars or in any information or promotional materials (such as brochures, leaflets, posters, presentations in electronic form, etc.), including tangible assets acquired from the project must: (a) indicate that the action has received funding from the Official Development Assistance, SlovakAid and (b) display the SlovakAid logo. When displayed in association with another logo, the SlovakAid logo must have appropriate prominence. The obligation to display the SlovakAid logo does not confer on the Final Beneficiary a right of exclusive use. The Final Beneficiary may not appropriate the SlovakAid logo or any similar trademark or logo, either by registration or by any other means. For the purposes of the first, second and third subparagraphs and under the conditions specified therein, the Final Beneficiary may use the SlovakAid logo without first obtaining permission from the SAIDC.

Abortion Funding Limitation Contractor understands, acknowledges, and agrees that, pursuant to Article IX of the General Appropriations Act (the Act), to the extent allowed by federal and state law, money appropriated by the Texas Legislature may not be distributed to any individual or entity that, during the period for which funds are appropriated under the Act:
Linking and Unlinking a Funding Source All money in your account is legally termed “electronic money”, which is recognised throughout the European Economic Area as a form of money suitable for use online. You can use a funding source as a way to pay us to obtain electronic money in your account or to receive withdrawals from your account, as further outlined in this user agreement (see in particular Adding or Withdrawing Money and Funding your Payment. You can link or unlink a credit card, debit card, a prepaid card (where available) a bank account or PayPal Credit (where available) to your PayPal account as a funding source. We may limit the availability of your funding sources to manage our risk. Please keep your funding source information current (e.g. credit card number and expiration date). If this information changes, we may update it using information and third-party sources available to us without any action on your part. If you do not want us to update your card information, you may contact your issuer to request this or remove your funding source from your PayPal account. If we update your funding source, we will keep any preference setting attached to that funding source. You may choose to confirm your card or bank account, so that we can verify that the card or bank account is valid and that you are its owner. We may allow you to do this by following the Link and Confirm Card process (for cards) or the Bank Confirmation process (for bank accounts) or other processes which we may notify to you or which we may publish from time to time. Your continuous permission for us to charge your funding sources By linking a funding source to your PayPal account, you give us continuous permission to automatically charge that funding source (subject to this user agreement and the terms of any mandate (e.g. bank direct debit) used by the provider of that funding source to set up and maintain that authority) for the required value of the electronic money: • to cover the payment amount (plus all transaction fees payable to us) when you use your account to send a payment to another user; and • to top up your account when you use the Add Funds functionality account interface. We may charge the funding source again if the previous attempt failed. If you cancel any continuous permission from your funding source, you will reimburse us for the value of any electronic money we’ve already issued for which a charge from that funding source remains outstanding. You can stop the permission by unlinking the funding source from your PayPal account. Risk of reversals to your funding source and when eCheques may arise When we receive a payment from your funding source we may store the resulting electronic money in your reserve account for as long as we have reason to believe that there is risk of reversal by the funding source provider. This is because we do not have all the information necessary to place the funds from your payment at your disposal in your PayPal balance while there is such a risk of reversal. When you instruct us to make a payment from your account to another user funded by a payment from your bank account and we store the resulting electronic money in this way, we call this type of payment from your bank account an “eCheque” payment. General Education Requirements for Azusa Pacific University Requirement Helpful Hints & Comments First-Year Seminar Course must focus on orientation to college academics while maintaining instruction in orientation, transitions, and holistic wellness. Typically, a 3-unit course. Not required for students who transfer in 30+ units. Writing 1: The Art & Craft of Writing Any first-semester composition course. Often titled "Freshman Composition," "College Composition," or "Reading and Composition." Must include basic research skills and a research paper. Writing 2: Genre, Evidence, & Persuasion Courses titled "Critical Thinking," "Advanced Composition," etc., that follow a basic freshman level writing course. These courses involve the use of logic, critical thinking, rhetoric, and advanced composition. In addition, genre-specific writing courses will introduce students to the genres of writing, rhetorical moves, and forms of evidence in a specific discipline. Possible courses include: Writing in the Humanities, Writing in the Social Sciences, Writing in the Arts, Writing in Theology, Writing in Business, Writing in Nursing, etc. Must include a research component. Writing 3: Writing in the Disciplines This category focuses on preparing students to be professionals in a field by being independent thinkers capable of constructing their own knowledge, including producing polished writing products in the genres of writing that students are likely to use in their future professions. Most courses in this category are required for the specific APU major and are therefore not likely to be fulfilled by a student's transfer work. Oral Communication Any Public Speaking or Oral Communication course. Must contain at least 3 individual public speeches. Also, communication courses in Interpersonal, Small Group, Argumentation and Debate, and Intercultural areas are acceptable (however, some majors may require Public Speaking). Cannot be taken as a hybrid course. Personal Wellness Any physical activity course with a cardio component and instruction in fitness principles. This includes individual activities, team sports, dance, yoga/mat exercise courses, and intercollegiate sports. Activities with limited physical activity such as badminton, golf, bowling, etc. will not fulfill the requirement. Quantitative Literacy Any course from the Math department of the transferring school that has a prerequisite of Intermediate Algebra. However, certain majors require College Algebra. Please refer to the APU catalog to determine whether or not your major requires College Algebra. In addition, Statistics and Applied Statistics courses (e.g. "Statistics for Behavioral Sciences") with an Intermediate Algebra prerequisite will meet this requirement. Biblical, Theological, & Philosophical Formation- Philosophy Requirement Must be a broad philosophy course such as Intro to Philosophy, History of Philosophy, philosophy-based Logic, Critical Thinking, and Ethics. All other courses must be evaluated by the Department of Theology & Philosophy for transfer. Humanities- History, Literature, & Fine Arts Requirement Must choose one course from each discipline (3 courses total): History, Literature, and Fine Arts. History courses must be survey courses in world, western, or U.S. history (typically split into two time periods). Literature courses must be broad, surveys of literature that explore the literary genres of fiction, drama, and poetry. Fine Arts courses must be broad, survey courses in Art, Music, Drama, or Theater (sometimes History of Cinema, Drama, or Theater courses) covering approximately 100 years. These must be lecture courses and not studio or applied courses such as drawing, painting, singing, piano, etc. Examples of acceptable courses from these categories include (but not limited to) World Civilizations to 1648, Intro to Literature, Art History, Music Fundamentals, etc. Social Sciences One course from the following disciplines: Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Anthropology, Communication Studies, or Political Science. Examples of courses include (but not limited to) Intro to Sociology, General Psychology, Intro to Criminal Justice, Cultural Anthropology, Mass Media, etc. Natural Sciences One course: lecture and lab component required. Any basic course in the life or physical sciences. Examples of courses include Fundamentals of Biology, General Biology, Fundamentals of Chemistry, General Chemistry, Introduction to Astronomy, Physical Geology/Geography, Fundamentals of Physics, General Physics, Oceanography, Zoology, Marine Biology. Biology and Chemistry labs cannot be taken online. However, certain majors require specific science courses. BUY AMERICA REQUIREMENT (Applies only to Federally Funded Highway and Transit Projects) With respect to products purchased by Customer for use in federally funded highway projects, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such projects, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 23 U.S.C. Section 313, 23 C.F.R. Section 635.410, as amended, and the Steel and Iron Preference provisions of Texas Transportation Code Section 223.045, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs. With respect to products purchased by Customer for use in federally funded transit projects, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such projects, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 49 U.S.C. Section 5323(j)(1), 49 C.F.R. Sections 661.6 or 661.12, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs.
ECR Number Environmental Commitment Record Requirements Description of ADOT Responsibilities TMP-3 The following measures will be implemented for the Selected Alternative: • All equipment exhaust systems will be in good working order. Properly designed engine enclosures and intake silencers will be used. • Equipment will be maintained on a regular basis. New equipment will be subject to new product emission standards. • Stationary equipment will be located as far away from sensitive receivers as possible. • Construction-related noise generators will be shielded from noise receivers (e.g., use temporary enclosures to shield generators or crushers, take advantage of site conditions to provide topographic separation). • Construction alerts will be distributed to keep the public informed of construction activities, and a toll-free number for construction-related complaints will be provided. • During the design phase, hours of operation will be evaluated to minimize disruptions during construction. ADOT to oversee for compliance TMP-4 Congestion from construction-related traffic will create temporary impacts in the project vicinity. The magnitude of these impacts will vary depending on the location of the sources of the fill material and of the disposition sites for surplus material, the land uses along the routes, the duration of hauling operations, staging locations, and the construction phasing. To identify acceptable routes and times of operation, ADOT, or its representative, will prepare an agreement with local agencies regarding hauling of construction materials on public streets. Developer shall comply with and perform all of the contractor and ADOT requirements, including the ADOT obligations, commitments, and responsibilities, identified in the following table, except to the extent of those requirements that are specifically identified in the third column, entitled “Description of ADOT Responsibilities,” which are not delegated to Developer.
